How to choose the solution for ultraviolet lamp cleaning

The purpose of wiping the ultraviolet lamp tube is to remove the dust on the ultraviolet lamp tube, which will affect the penetration of ultraviolet rays. In 5.4.3.1 of WS / t368-2012, the surface of the ultraviolet lamp should be kept clean and wiped once a week with 70 percent 80 percent (volume ratio) ethanol cotton ball. When dust and oil stain are found on the surface of the lamp tube, it shall be wiped in time.

Using 75 percent ethanol can quickly dry without leaving water marks, and is easy to obtain. The drying process of wiping with clean water is slow and will leave traces of water, so it is not recommended. 95 percent ethanol wiping can also achieve the purpose of rapid drying without leaving water marks, but it is not used much in hospital departments, which is not as easy to obtain as 75 percent ethanol.
